How do they move??
Magic!! For real though, the answer is deceptively simple, it's not nekomimi or anything electronic, it's simple puppetry. Clear string is sewn into the ears and threaded through the headpiece and hang either side of the face when worn, which you can pull on with your hands to pull the 'ears' up, as you may have seen with Juniper or my other harpies!
Why are there only a few in your store?
Most often you may see only a few headpieces in my store or occasionally sold out entirely, but I also have commissions and custom orders available as an option if you have a specific design in mind!
If you follow me on my instagram @misstwisted I do announce there when I will have more for sale.
They do take me on avarage 2-3 days to make each one, and that's alongside making cosplays and other content for Patreon, Instagram and Tiktok, so I don't make too many of them.
I also handmake each one myself with no assistance, which does mean I can ensure consistent quality, but also means they are in high demand.
How much are they?
Most of my headpieces will be between 415 USD to 600 USD, with some exceptions depending on design. (Plus postage on top). I calculate price based on the feathers and materials used, time it takes to make and complexity of the design.
I occasionally have smaller designs such as headband-style pieces or non-moving designs as alternatives.
How do I request a custom order?

What are the payment options?
We offer Paypal and standard card payment (Mastercard/Visa)
What is your return policy?
Full refund is allowed within 30 days of recieving the product, if the product is found to have a major problem as defined by ACCC law.
Shipping back to us will be at customer's expense, however if upon receipt we are able to confirm that the product was faulty a full refund will be given including all shipping costs.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for change of mind or damage that we are not at fault for.
Please keep in mind the products are fragile by nature and are should be treated as such.
My headpieces often contain natural flaws as I use a range of feathers and not every feather is perfect! I think this gives the pieces character and realism. Similarly most of my pieces are not perfectly symettrical either.
I aim to take many pictures and video footage of each headpiece so you have plenty of opportunity to see the headpiece in detail before purchase.
